Apologies for my English!

Just replaced my 4-spoke old MFSW in my MY2010 Superb with the new 3-spoke MFSW from the Superb Facelift.



Partnumbers;

-3-spoke MFSW, leather, telephone = 3T0 419 091 G
-3-spoke MFSW, leather, telephone, DSG = 3T0 419 091 AJ
-Airbag = 3T0 880 201 G IZY
-Airbag cable (You need to have this, the facelift wheel has a different connector) = 5JA 971 584

The new one is from a DSG car, I have a manual, but you can either ignore the paddles which don't work obviously, or you can easely remove them from the steering wheel (like I did)

All buttons, functions and lights work. Install took about 5 minutes, no need for new coding in my case.

Price?

205€ for the wheel using allegro.pl (got lucky)
392,77€ for the airbag using the local dealer (unlucky, airbags are hard to find and very expensive :'( )

Worth it? To each his own, I think yes. It's thicker in the right places, it looks miles better, the airbag is a bit less protruding, and the rollers to use the volume and maxidot controls are nice metal instead of plastic! Buttons feel more positive aswell!

You paid a fortune for all of this, my wheel costed about 80 € and the airbag about 180 €

I know they are cheaper in Poland, but I'm from Belgium...

The steering wheel at the dealer is normally.........450€! And the Airbag is indeed 400€. I got the wheel for 200€ from Allegro (with expensive shipping...) but the airbag I had no choice.

I also bought the combi rear LED lights with help from Enriquez, these ended up costing me 67,50€ per light.....in Belgium....are you sitting down....?

350€ per unit!!

So shopping in Poland has already saved me tons of money Car parts prices are way higher in Belgium.

Chce kupic taka wlasnie kierownice 3ramienna.
Mam trzy pytania:
1. Czy jezeli teraz nie mam zadnego sterowania z kiery to jak zaloze z przyciskami obslugujacymi radio i telefon beda dzialac, czy trzeba jakies dodatkowe kable prowadzic??

2. Czy poduszka pasuje z 4ramiennej? (2010rok)

3. Gdzie tanio moge taka nabyc?

1. Kabelek potrzebny nowy od kiery do sterownika, ten co za poduszką jest + nowy sterownik prawdopodobnie - zależy co masz teraz.
2. Nie pasuje
3. Allegro

Podlacze się do wątku...
Jest S2 lift z kierownica 4 ramienna.
Plan - zmiana na 3 ramienna z multifunkcja i dsg....
Czy airbagi sa takie same dla tych kierownic?
A jest szansa że sterowanie dsg będzie podciagniete?

nie zadałeś podstawowego pytania - czy obecny sterownik obsłuży multifunkcję - różnie może być - u mnie akurat dali taki, co obsłużył

Koleś pisze, że możliwa do zamontowania a nie że multifunkcja będzie działać, taki mały szczegół o MFL pisze ze z oIII RS działa Taki szczegół.
